ACK Media is bringing its legacy of rich characters and storytelling from print to film. The new ACK Animation team, full of talented professionals from varied backgrounds, is working hard to create ground-breaking content which will redefine storytelling in Indian animation.
The vision is to not only introduce a whole new generation to the world of ACK & Tinkle through TV & film, but simultaneously also create new stories which continue to inspire and entertain in true ACK tradition.
Current Projects
1. AMAR CHITRA KATHA- The Animated Series (TV Series, 22mins x 26 episodes)
Faithful to the original Amar Chitra Katha comics that everyone knows and loves, this series brings the celebrated illustrated style of the ACK comics to animation. Each episode adapts a different ACK comic filled with action, adventure and mythology. All your favorites show up along with some hidden gems. Titles include Kumbhkaran, Hanuman To The Rescue, Tales of Arjun, Tales of Shivaji, Sugreev & Vali, Karna, Prahlad and many more.

2. Tripura (Feature Film, 78mins)
After the death of their king Taraka at the hands of the devas, the asuras flee their kingdoms and spend years in hiding. Determined to provide a safe haven for them, the great asura architect Maya draws on his vast powers of sorcery to build three magnificent airborne cities, named Tripura, each to be ruled over by one of Taraka's three sons. Fuelling the asuric ambitions of the 3 young princes of Tripura, Brahma the Creator grants them a boon of indestructibility, as the cities can only be destroyed by the one and only Lord Shiva, the Destroyer.

1. Suppandi!! (TV Series, 22mins x 13 episodes)
The original Indian goof from the world of Tinkle comics finally makes his animated debut! This forthcoming series promises the classic brand of Suppandi humour for a whole new generation of viewers along with many unexpected surprises for the most seasoned Suppandi fan. Add a delightful cast of new characters and the fun just never stops.
Look for Suppandi!! To debut on Cartoon Network India in late 2011.
2. Sons of Ram (Feature Film, 74mins)
ACK Animation's most ambitious project yet in terms of creativity & storytelling. The epic story of the twins, Luv & Kush, told like never before with beautiful designs and art rarely seen in Indian animation. The film also boasts of wonderful songs written and performed by the best in the industry, including Sunidhi Chauhan playing Sita.
Look for Sons of Ram to premiere on Cartoon Network India in early 2012!
